Cesky Krumlov - not just a beautiful little town located in the south of the Czech Republic, it is a real town-reserve protected by UNESCO. It is famous for stunningly beautiful medieval castle complex is called Cesky Krumlov Castle and the unique natural landscapes. The storyteller Hans Christian Andersen, who visited it in 1831, was so inspired by what he saw beauty that he returned to Cesky Krumlov in 1851. With every street, and, perhaps, with every home is linked to a mysterious history, some legend-Sometimes these lagends are romantic, sometimes dramatic.

If you want even more to feel the atmosphere of Cesky Krumlov, we recommend you have a meal in the knight's tavern «Taverna Marketá». In summer, on a hot afternoon, leaving the Krumlov castle you can also enjoy chocolate ice cream in a cafe «Bon Bon».

Cesky Krumlov full of souvenir shops. They offer a wide range of beer mugs and magnets. Also in this wonderful town you can taste beer brewed in the local brewery Eggenberg. But the most interesting, why go to the city - a tour of the castle complex and its beautiful park, where there is a very beautiful cascade fountain.

You can go wandering around the castle on their own by buying a ticket at the box office and a guide in your native language and can hardly wait for the inlet and join one of the groups. No less interesting to visit the Church of St. Vitus Cathedral, built in the Gothic style, wander through the narrow streets of the city, sit on the banks of the Vltava and visit the many local museums.

Here you will find the House of fairy tales and Puppet Museum, the wax museum and a local history museum. And if you are lucky enough to visit during the June "medieval" Five-petalled Rose Festival, it received enough impressions for a long time.

How to get to Cesky Krumlov?
 

You can get to Cesky Krumlov by train from Prague. It takes hours to 3.5 hours from the station Hlavní Nádraží to Ceske Budejovice, the ticket price is 10 euros. From Ceske Budejovice plus 45 minutes to Cesky Krumlov. This ticket will cost only 2 euros.
